         To make the aware of electrical hand tools and  able to identify the tools

 

Tools required:- 

Screwdriver, tester, hammers, hand saw, hacksaw, drill machine,  spanner,

adjustable wrench,  files.

Uses: 

• Screwdriver:- it is used to tighten or loosen the screw

• Line tester:- It is used to check the flow of current

• Hammer:- it is used to Hammer nails on any Surface

• Hand saw:- It is used to cut wooden surface or object 

• Hacksaw:-It is used to cut plastic or iron pipe

• Plier:-It is used to hold wire or tighten the nuts or bolts

• Drill machine:-It is used to drill holes on any Surface

• Measuring tape:-It is used to measure any object or item

• Spanners:-It is used to tighten or loosen any bolt

• Files:-It is used to sharpen is smoothen any Surface

 

Safety precautions

• Tools should not be left unattended

• Be careful while using tools

• Tools should be kept properly in the toolbox after use 

• Sharp tools should be kept separately and also handled carefully.

1. Main switch should be off. 

     

2. Our hands should be dry or our hands should not be wet.

 

3. we should wear rubber gloves in our hands.

4. .We should use a tester to check the current. 

   

5.  We should use a plier to cut ,to strip and to join the wire.

     

6. We should use insulating tape to cover the wire joint. 

7.Inspect & maintain your electrical tools.

MAKING A TORCH

MATERIALS REQUIRED:-

* Empty Box            

*L.E.D

Stands for "Light-Emitting Diode." An LED is an electronic device that emits light when an electrical current is passed through it.

                                

    *Wire

                IT IS USED TO CONNECT ANY ACCESSORIES AND EQUIPMENTS OF ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT.

   *Electric Tape

IT IS USED TO COVER THE OPEN JOINT WIRE SO IT WILL BECOME SHOCK PROOF.

   *Battery

IT IS A SOURCE OF DIRECT CURRENT. IT IS USED IN ANY ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT TO GIVE THE SUPPLY TO IT.

*Switch

SWITCH IS USED TO OPEN OR CLOSE THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT. IF IT IS CLOSED CURRENT STARTS FLOWING THROUGH THE CIRCUIT, AND IF IT IS OPEN CURRENT STOPS FLOWING IN THE CIRCUIT.

Method

}  TAKE ONE EMPTY BOX

}  MAKE ONE HOLE AT THE FRONT SIDE OF THE BOX WHERE WE FIX ONE LED.

}  MAKE ONE HOLE AT THE SIDE WALL OF THE BOX WHERE WE FIX SWITCH.

}  CONNECT BATTERY,LED, SWITCH TOGETHER WITH THE HELP OF WIRE.

}  ISOLATE ALL THE JOINTS WITH THE HELP OF ELECTRIC TAPE.
